Benjamin Pease

Head of Municipal Trading

Ben is head of municipal trading for Breckinridge. He is a member of the firm’s Investment Committee, where he is jointly responsible for setting the firm’s investment outlook and the translation into portfolio strategy. He is also a member of the firm’s Risk Committee. In his role, Ben is responsible for both taxable and tax-exempt municipal bond trade execution. He has been with the firm since 2014 and has over 22 years of professional trading experience across a wide range of markets. Ben was promoted to his current role in 2019. Prior to Breckinridge, Ben was a vice president and senior fixed income trader at TD Asset Management Inc. In that role, he was responsible for the trade execution of various fixed income asset classes, daily oversight of the trading desk and participation on the fixed income portfolio management team. Before TD, Ben worked at Banknorth Investment Management Group, where he was promoted to head trader in 2005 overseeing the daily trading for approximately $7 billion in assets under management. Ben began his trading career at Fidelity Investments as part of the Spartan Trading group. Ben holds both a B.S. in finance and economics and an MBA from Southern New Hampshire University.
